For Self-Storage Operators

Unit inventory that
starts simple — and grows with you.

SpaceForThat already helps you model facilities as nested spaces, tag units with tenant fields, print QR labels, and share access with staff. Full facility dashboards, lease/payment pipelines, and offline staff mode are on the roadmap — not sold as shipping features yet.

Available today

Unit hierarchy

Model climate zones, standard units, vehicle storage, and offices as nested spaces — with a self-storage onboarding preset.

Tenant fields + QR

Track unit number, size, tenant name, move-in date, rate, and access code. Print QR labels for doors and bins.

Staff access

Invite team members with roles. Share a space with viewers or editors without handing over the whole account.

Roadmap — not shipping yet

Facility command center features

  • • Occupancy heatmap across units and sites
  • • Lease status and payment pipeline
  • • Tenant self-service portal via QR
  • • Offline-first staff operations when WiFi drops
  • • Portfolio multi-location revenue views

Business plan subscribers get priority access when these ship. Until then, use the inventory platform as a unit catalog — not a full property management system.

Common questions

Can I manage multiple facilities today?
You can model multiple locations as top-level spaces under one account and invite staff. Portfolio analytics and per-location pricing pushes are not built yet.
Do tenants need an app?
Not today. Tenant self-service is on the roadmap. For now, staff use the web app; QR labels help staff and partners jump to unit records.
Is this a replacement for SiteLink / storEDGE?
Not yet. Think of SpaceForThat as inventory-first organization for units and contents. Lease billing systems remain separate until facility tools ship.
